Our UX Research finals is to conduct an AB test for two apps of our choice. I chose to conduct a test for food-monitoring apps FIG and Spoonful which utilize a barcode-scanning and search bar function technology.
My research question aims to compare both apps in terms of information availability, ease of use, and value. I used quantitative and qualitative research methods, such as a Likert Scale, John Brooke’s System Usability Scale, and Microsoft Product React Cards to gain a good understanding of individual’s user experience. I conducted the research by building my instrument and distributing the questionnaire to my chosen population.
The final output is a research paper and a quick presentation in class.
